Mathematica 8 Musing

There are a lot of new features in Mathematica 8. The texturing capabilities are illustrated in the video. Exporting to mov format seems effective and economical on space. The image processing and mathematical morphology capabilities, the wavelet transforms, and the statistical capabilities seem exciting aspects.

Dynamic edge detection seems to stress the unknown bloggers system. However, see the following:
